We came alongside the client and builder when the architectural design was in the final stages. This gave us the opportunity to get creative from the start, get to understand the homeowners and realize their style, functionality and desire.

This young couple moved from San Francisco to Deephaven, MN to be closer to family. With their extensive travel experience and a unique eye for design, they wanted a home that gave them the same feeling as their favorite European hotels and restaurants.

Being the first sunken living room design we have done, we had to measure for custom sofas several times to ensure the perfect fit. Blush flat-paneled cabinets in the kitchen pair with black and white Cambria quartz countertops to lessen the sweetness. “Forgoing the typical” was our mission and it was accomplished quite well with sophistication and functionality not forgotten.
