The custom luxury garage condo is an interior buildout of a unit at the Automotorplex in Medina, MN. Careful consideration of the interior architecture was required to meet these clients’ needs for entertainment, storage, and multi-functional living spaces, while ensuring that views of their luxury cars, the main focus of this getaway, remained visible.

The main level garage accommodates three cars, a storage area with a large sliding barn door, a drink bar, a conference meeting area, and a half bath. The concrete floor was rounded, stained, and polished to create a beautiful and durable finish.

The loft level is where the family hosts personal friends and family for special events and weekend fun. The small kitchen packs a huge punch with its high-end design features and full-scale appliances hidden behind custom cabinetry painted a midnight black. Warming up the industrial feel is the kitchen island and wood ceiling cloud in rift cut white oak. The antiqued Via Lactea granite adds to the lineup of textures in this space.

Drawing from the car theme, the bathroom has a luxurious and modern feel with a floating custom vanity painted in Porsche Auratium Green and adorned with hardware and plumbing fixtures that hint at the auto racing motif.

Balancing visual privacy with an open view was carefully considered and flawlessly executed using a custom modern stair railing, featuring a steel tube frame and perforated metal infill.

All in all, the ultimate playground for the auto-adventurer was crafted—a sleek, modern hideaway full of fun and excitement!
